Brian is a seasoned entrepreneur and passionate trader with over 10 years of experience in the financial markets. Driven by a commitment to innovation, he founded SGLP to offer institutions and accredited investors access to the firm's cutting-edge trading technology. Throughout his career, Brian has successfully built and managed multiple businesses across various industries, demonstrating exceptional leadership and market insight. Originally from Orange County, California, he now resides in Phoenix, Arizona, with his wife and their two children.​

While Brian has founded multiple successful ventures in the past, he is now fully dedicated to SGLP, where he focuses 100% of his time. The firm represents both the most successful and personally fulfilling endeavor of his career.

Anthony Kerkar

Anthony Kerker

Anthony began trading at age 19 and currently provides SGLP with investment research, portfolio construction, and risk management. With over six years of experience in quantitative finance, he specializes in algorithmic strategy design, capital allocation, and systematic trade execution. He focuses on refining and enhancing the firm’s technology stack to optimize trading performance.

Before joining SGLP, he spent over four years developing and testing advanced trading algorithms at a SaaS company and launched a friends-and-family fund. His expertise in data-driven strategies and market analysis has been a key driver of innovation and investment results at SGLP. Originally from Portland, Oregon, Anthony now reside in Miami, Florida.

Professional Highlights

  • Designed and developed a suite of scalping, intraday, and swing trading algorithms for the currency markets in collaboration with an internal development team. These were licensed to SaaS firms under subscription-based models during a tenure 

  • Led extensive performance testing across hundreds of algorithmic systems, ultimately forming the Quant/Dev team he now oversees.

  • Co-structured a friends-and-family fund in 2021 with a sub-$1M AUM at launch.

  • Scaled the firm’s cumulative trading operations to over $20M in AUM.​​
